To ensure a seamless, turnkey, acoustic testing experience with the NEUTRON System, ARS has developed essential accessories for safe and reliable deployment, connection and operation.
We have certified attachment devices and lifting slings to meet diverse user needs and provide safety margins for critical lift operations.
Additionally, our purpose-built interconnect cables simplify connections between NEUTRON System components and other test-related hardware, including sensors and accelerometers.
The blank-slate design mentality of the NEUTRON System applies to every aspect of the solution, including accessories. Cables, slings, patchbays - all constructed to precisely and reliably carry out their dedicated function.
Frames and slings are purpose-engineered with the highest quality parts and materials to provide maximum safety and operational consistency, with all required certifications available on file.
Connectors built to MIL-DTL-5015 standard ensures critical test connections are reliable and secure, with multi-pin connectivity that maximizes density and minimizes discrete connection points.
ARS offers three options for slings to connect lifting devices to the NEUTRON 104 standard lifting frame. Each 4-leg bridle and D-ring features legs manufactured to provide the optimal angle for lifting a complete tack of NEUTRON acoustic devices:
ARS patchbay and cables feature designs based on MIL-DTL-5015, a United States Military Standard which covers heavy-duty circular electrical connectors with soldered or crimped contacts for both digital and analog signals.
The ARS MBX16 multi-purpose input patchbay accepts up to 16 channels of BNC-connected analog signals, including microphones, accelerometers and similar inputs. A large number of input channels can travel long distances from the testing area and back to the control area safely and efficiently via ARS MBX16 multicore cables. The MBX16 features a robust metal construction and a low-profile design.

ARS MBX16-10, -25, -50, and -100 high-quality multicore cables (of various lengths) connect MBX16 input boxes to their termination point at the ARSDRIVE control rack or other applicable location. Due to their small diameter but high core density, MBX16 cables are an ideal choice for connecting high channel count systems together.
ARS DRV1-10, -25, -50, and -100 high quality digital multicore cables (of various lengths) expedite accurate connection of the digital drive backbone of ARS NEUTRON Systems. The DRV1 features twin Cat6 connectivity as well as 12 channels of digital audio backup to link multiple CORERACK’s together to the ARSDRIVE control and monitoring hub.
ARS ML16-25, -50, and -75 multi-pin high capacity loudspeaker cables (of various lengths) facilitate the expedient and accurate connection of ARS NEUTRON acoustic devices to their respective CORERACK amplifier outputs. Featuring application optimized wire gauging and built-in strain relief, each high-quality ML16 cable shows ARS’s commitment to maintaining the highest levels of quality and efficiency in all parts of the NEUTRON System.
