ARS to Attend ISMA 2026 in Leuven, Belgium

Acoustic Research Systems (ARS) will attend ISMA 2026, the International Conference on Noise and Vibration Engineering, taking place September 7–9, 2026, in Leuven, Belgium.

Organized by the KU Leuven Department of Mechanical Engineering, ISMA2026 marks the 32nd edition of a conference series held continuously since 1975, and will again be co-located with the International Conference on Uncertainty in Structural Dynamics (USD2026). The combined program brings together academic research and industrial practice in structural dynamics, modal testing, acoustic testing, and noise and vibration engineering, with this year’s sessions covering topics such as digital twins, AI applications in dynamic testing, and damage assessment and structural health monitoring.

On Tuesday, September 8, Kevin Napolitano of ATA Engineering presented “Application of the Fixed Base Correction Method to Direct Field Acoustic Noise Test Data on the Emirates Mission to the Asteroid Belt Structural Test Article” as part of the Space and Aviation Techniques/Technologies session.

The presentation was co-authored by Kevin Napolitano, ARS team members Ed Heyd and Dale Schick, and Bart Peeters, Umberto Musella, and Chris Sensor of Siemens.
